I think you answered your own question, I would use an Incubator to "incubate" your eggs lol

I use ceramic soil, the European version is Seramis. Most people tend to use perlite, vermiculite or peatmoss.

i used to use vermicullite but it keeps on drying out too fast and woudered if there was anythink else which is better!

It still matters HUGELY what species your incubating. Holy moly.

If the vermiculite is drying out too quickly, you are doing one of two things wrong.

A) You have too much ventilation.

or

B) You don't have enough water and/or medium.

Or both, I guess.

I use vermiculite and sometimes peat/vermiculite if I don't have neough vermiculite.
