More pics of Manillan, my new male Borneo

I have named him Manillan, it means 'snake' in the language of the Lundaiya, a snake hunting tribe from Borneo.

Very nice!

Just a note: I would try to support the snake's body more because as you know these guys are more heavy bodied than most snakes.

Thanks for sharing!

I am aware of the fact I was holding him not proparly at the moment the picture was taken. But the snake was moving fast to get out of my hands. I was lucky that there was one sharp pic between all the others
The bigger female is even more difficult to handle, she is making very wild movements, "throwing" her body sideways to get out of my hands. They do not bite however.

Nice pics hehe very nice snakes indeed. My short-tail is the most calmest of all my collection lol I guess im lucky. I can get her out and she will literly sit on my floor for hours without wondering off. She will explore but just not leave more than 12" from where i put her down lol its weird

I definetly understand Rob. "Been there done that" kind of deal. I try to be really careful about it, always holding them close to support, not picking them up if they are moving around like mad or else keeping them close to the ground. Maybe im over careful, lol.

BTW: I like your cages! Is it just me or is there an exposed lamp in the bottom one though?

Cheers!
