happiest man ever with a couple of lighting questions
hows it going im doin great i just got 2 sub adult females, i have a huge 175 gallon enclosure for the females and im putting my male (almost adult) in a 75 gallon tommorow (i know i know they shouldnt be together at all but tommorow they will be separated) they get along great anyway male bobs head like crazy and the girls fly around the cage at 100 mph, its funny cause as long as they arent in his spot he loves them, but if they get too close to his basking they run around its hilarious. anyways i currently have an open concept 175 gal cage with 2 basking spots one 150 W basking bulb and one 75 W bulb. as well as a 24" 8.0 repti uvb. sound good??? any feed back would be great, im sure im giving them everything i need i take better care of them than i do me lol. thanks
the happiest beardie owner in the world

Your lighting sounds like it'd be good enough but what are the temps in the basking areas? Also I've always kept my beardies together and never had any problems. I"d just watch if the male starts attacking the girls (biting tails and feet) I'd seperate them.

A 175gal enclosure would be big enough for a 1.5 ratio of beardies! With only a 1.2 that is more than enough room. Just be sure to provide enough structures for each of them to have their own hiding and basking spot. As long as your ambiant temps in the enclosure are in the 80's and your basking spots are in the mid 90's you should be fine.
What are the dimesions of the enclosure?

dimensions hmmmmmmmmmm i got the measure tape out...and
48" long 30" high and 30" deep. as well yesterday my male started bobbing his head like crazy and charging at them (the girls as soon as i introduced them) no biting or anything so i continued to watch to see if they were just doing the typical dragon meets new dragon thing, and then one of the females puffed way out and snaped my male right on the neck and ever since that moment they have all lived in peace. it was the neatest thing i have ever seen.!!

Sounds like they're doing alright together aslong as there's only one male in with all the females. As soon as you got more than one male in there you'll really see the fighting!
