BCI, BCC, BC longicauda??

Hey all,
My question is about the scale counts.
From what I learned back in the late seventys, and eighties, is that the BCI has up to 79, the BCC up to 88-89. Now when reading up on BC longicauda (NEW to ME) I read 90-99, how ever, I read conflicting info on the BCC, BCI counts.
Anyone know for sure? Or can direct me to a reliable source?
I bought my BCC from Peter Khal in late 99, her count is 87, which fits what I was taught.
