Never met the man but I sure feel like I knew him. He brought a lot of laughs to a lot of people, and just for a short time while watching him, we were all able to forget the days BS and relax. He was one of those giants in the industry that you knew a hundred people could replace him, but nobody will ever top him. I'm gonna miss him.

I watched him for years since I was a kid and, I tell ya, he was the best late night host they ever had...smooth and smart...laughed my face off many nights...I was so bummed when he went off the air and then now that he died ..drag
