Thermostats with Night drop?
What are the different thermostats available that have a night drop built in? And if anyone is using these how easy are they to operate. Also does anyone know what prices they are?
thanks
I've looked on the net but am only coming up with one or two models in canada and the rest are in the states (I avoid the cross border shipping hassles as much as possible).

Not many options in Canada really, you'll probably have to go South for this one. There are two that come to mind, the Helix DBS-1000, found at www.beanfarm.com and www.helixcontrols.com and the Herp Power Proportional Thermostats found at www.bigappleherp.com
I personally use the Helix DBS-1000 and can vouch for their perfection.

Just to add to the above post, if it's the Helix DBS-1000 that you're interested in, Matt K sells them (and at a great price point I might add).

I just ordered 1 Herpstat and 2 Johnsons from Matt at Justcage(great guy to deal with), the Herpstat has a built in Nightdrop and Johnsons does not but just going to add a digital timer to 1 of them for my enclosures as the other is for my Incubator and dont need nightdrop

Retic, I also would like info once you start using the Herpstat!! That thing looks like a great thermostat, but I hesitated puchasing one just because of the lack of information.. I've since then read about people using them and they appear to be quite reliable and the service is exceptional!
Keep us posted!
Thanks,
Bristen.

Justcage, which thermostat do you recommend for a bar fridge incubator? Price is an issue for me. Also, do you have any idea on shipping costs to Ottawa? Thanks
Geoff
