My First Kingsnake
I went to the local herp shop friday night to buy feeders for the snakes and the bugs and was pointed toward a seemingly empty cage. The manager reached in and produced what he said was a desert kingsnake. I took the little bugger from him and told him to get a bag.



PS. Sorry for the crappy image, I'll try to get some better shots in the next few days.

Nice Splendida! They are pretty snakes (love the contrast between the patterned body and the predominantly black head). I don't know why they aren't as popular as Cali's and Mexican Blacks. Hope yours settles in and thrives for you!
