Red face Bcis' getting aggressive

I was offering live rats to my Boas (1.2.0) and finaly i have noticed that they became a little aggressive and sometimes it is difficult to handle with.
My one female even bite me

If i switch to thawed and slowly start to handle them, will they became tamer?

Yes, they may move quicker, but if the snake doesn't grab the rat in the right spot, the rat may plant a bite on the snake.

I agree that live is not a good way to go, just an accident waiting to happen in my honest opinion anyways.

I don't reccomend Live. The snakes are getting aggressive because they're used to you opening the door to be fed,and with LIVE they're addrenaline just shoots up,cause they're preparing themself for the Hunt and KILL.I think when you feed them dead they know it, and become less aggressive.Try petting them with a snake stick first before handling so they know it's not feeding time and they would react differently.GOOD LUCK.

See I feed mine in a total different container as well. So I can reach into the cage and not have to worry about what happened to you. Even my big girl who is 7' 45 lbs is still good woth me. Unless you just woke her up of course....lol

i have a female thats a bit agressive but only when she thinks there is going to be food, but if u just pick it right away it no's theres no food and is just a big puppy dog

another way i have stoped this is i only feed at night so in the day when i open the cage shes fine and doesnt do anything because she knows she gets fed only at night when its dark

Switching them over, in my opinion, is a very good idea, but I doubt that it would change their disposition too much, if at all.
