Norton

Anyone know how to change the start time for Norton's Auto Protect? Is there a way? It's coming on at inconvenient times and slowing the computer down. :hammer:

Do you mean Norton's Virus Scan not its Auto Protect? I find it very inconvenient when I am playing a game online and then Norton starts scanning for viruses and my ping on the game goes shooting up. It slows down my computer sooooo much.

Edit* If you want to change Norton Virus Scan Scheduling. Here are the steps to do so:
1) Start Norton
2) On the left panel click on "Scan for Viruses"
3) Finally, click on "Schedule" on the bottom right and change the times for your convenience

Note* this is for Norton Antivirus 2003 Pro Edition. I'm not sure if these are the same steps for all versions of Norton.

Well that was easy! Thanks Jon!! I never clicked on "scan for viruses" because I thought it would just start scanning. DUH! lol
