turts in canada

Alright, somebody has to know. Where can i get semi-aquatic turts in Canada? I am not interested in any RES, and i do not want WC. So what does that leave me? I believe there is a lady on here that sells DBT, but they are a little out of my price range at the moment. Can anybody point me in the direction of a source for turtles in Canada?

Geoff

Ken from Vancouver always has a few things for sale. You can see his ads on the site that shall not be named King..... If you contact him he usually will have something he is not advertising as well.

I think Julie Tougas in Montreal has been working with Malayan Boxies, and if there's a turtle that can best describe semi aquatic their the one.

What about Central Amrican wood turtles. I have a pair and their great but if you Dimond backs are expensive you might be suprized how much people pay for exotic turtles

Kilos,

Why not wait for the next Toronto Reptile Expo. The last one had a higher than usual number of turltes for sale. The prices may still be high, but you have the ability to try and make a deal.

well, by semi-aquatic i do mean mostly aquatic. For instance i would call sliders, cooters, and painted turtles all semi-aquatic. Boxies and Wood turtles i guess would be semi-terrestrial? LOL . No i guess you are all right, they would be more semi-aquatic and the others would just be aquatic then? Perhaps i will check out the expo, when i was there last all i saw was torts and boxies. What did they have last show?

You can get cooters, florida red bellies and maps usually in Peterborogh. There is a large reptile retailer there.

Hey, do you have any contact info for the guy in peterborough? I might go through him.

JJ! I haven't heard from you in a long time. My internet is down for a while, at least untill friday. I'll send you an email with my new phone # and we can talk about it there.

Geoff

Mississippi maps are fairly readily available. I saw some cute little babies at Reptile Wrangler in Barrie today.
