Scratch?

My girlfriend just called me tonight and told me her male leopard gecko looks to have a red line on his stomache. She says it kind of looks like a scratch thats healed but isn't sure. She said there wasn't any blood of any sort.

I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet but I will tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas what it might be? There's nothing in his cage that could have done this, and he's been seperated from the females for awhile I thoughr it could have been a scratch from breeding. There's nothing in my Leopard Gecko manual about it so I was hoping someone here would know.

He may have scratched himself during a shed? Sometimes it happens, but if it looks to be healing well I wouldn't worry too much. If there's any swelling, redness around the wound, oozing fluids,or a change in behavior then a vet trip might be in order.

Well I wont know about any of that untill I go over there, but Mindy says he's still really active and when she took him out he did his usual climb to her should and checking out her ear :P

I'll be heading over there when I get in the shower to see if there's anything unusual
