Question just adopted a "picked on" beardie

Hey im new here ive had a water dragon for about a year now and i just adopted a sick, im geussing about 2 year old beardie, and i love him he is missing a little bit of his snout but it is all healed over now, and his tail has a little missing other than that he seems allright, he only licks his greens he eats roches no problem and he has sort of a sticky clear liquid on his mouth any pointers for feeding greens and what is that clear liquid stuff, sorry about the long post anything will help. thanks, also he lived with 2 other beardies who were very healthy thats why i say he was picked on. thanks alot

BDs over a year old should only be fed animal protien once a week(at most). to much protien causes fatty liver disease. After he settles in his appetite for greens will probably increase. He may also be lethargic due to the season (brumation). Just make sure he has fresh salad every day and see how he does. He may be picky as to what type of greens he likes.

hey thanks alot you actually comforted me a bit he went to the bathroom today and had a huge poop so maybe he was also impacted he is quite skinny and thats why i thought feeding him cockroaches might get him back on his feet, he did eat a little piece of romaine and a little carrot. so hopefully he comes around im sure he will
