i must just add to my comment above that the rest of my family did want her i just thought a 9 ft snake was to much for us but we bought a book on how to keep them and she is so happy with us she loves coming out and exploring my 13 yr old daughter loves her to peices and the feeling is mutual from the boa she just loves to curl up round her and go to sleep we have a friend who is a herper he has helped us no end and we know a guy who runs a reptile only store who is very much on the button when it comes to all things reptile and now we have all of you guys on this great website we are thinking of getting more the question is when
