Eastern Collard Lizards

I so want these, or any collard for that matter. I have seen a couple for sale, although few and far between, but I am not ready to get them yet.

I have also noticed that in the states (where they are obviously more available) they seem to have some AMAZING colored ones going on, while the ones I have seen (male and a female) aren't that great. Did I just get unlucky with the two I have seen?

Where would someone start looking if they wanted these in Canada....who has them?

Ya know what Marisa...no breeder does! I have 1.1 pair that I picked up at a local pet shop, very healthy mind you. You could easily order a healthy sexed pair at your local petstore for 100-120$.

Good luck!

There are some people breeding them in captivity, but I don't know any names. A couple of years ago I saw some absolutely beautiful colourful ones at Global Exotic Pets here in Kitchener. When I commented on their colours, I was told they were CB. I used to have collards years ago and subscribed to a yahoo group where the CB ones were discussed a lot. Trouble is I can't recall the details anymore. Why not contact Global and see if they can help you out?
