kerosene heat safe???

would a kerosene heater be okay to heat my herp room if i lose power? i'm not sure if the fumes would be hazardous to reptiles. thanks.

I know kerosene is toxic to plants. Not sure what it does to animals. I wouldn't chance it, but I'm not you.

i would think it be allot safer to put your heat source / furnace on backup gas powered generator...

i am getting a gas powered generator shortly. i just thought i'd check about kerosene as it would be a cheaper alternative for heat. better safe than sorry.
