The latest AFT addition.

My latest AFT acquisition - a Peach Amel

If I keep this up, the AFT's will soon outnumber the leopards. (Not that I'm complaining).

Next week I'm picking up a pair of Teratoscincus scincus keyserlingii, Giant Frog Eyed Geckos, orange phase.

Gee, Santa must be very gullible or I really was a good girl this year.

heheheh....thanks, but I have a "sense" when someone types "frog-eyed geckos". I immediately gravitate towards the post. I think eventually I may just have to get a pair of the giant froggies, because for the life of me I can't find a female lesser frog-eyed to pair with my male.

That's an amazing amel Hilde! Was it one that Linda produced? Best of luck with the new geckos!

Yup, that's one of Linda's kids

I asked around about the availability of lesser frog-eyed geckos. It's not really good news, but you probably know that already. It seems they are available as WC, most are in really rough shape, shipping is worse on them than most other species. They also seem to have more than their fair share of parasites, worse than one would expect from WC, so survival odds aren't great. Typical WC story only a bit worse for these because they're smaller. CB are hard to find too, they aren't the easiest to breed. Apparently their cooling cycle has to be pretty exact, even a bit too warm or not long enough duration and there won't be any breeding from the sounds of it.
It could be a while before you find a female, and CB sounds like a small miracle.

Congrats on the new addition, she's quite the looker! I can't wait to see the Giant Frog-Eyed Geckos. I've only ever seen the normal Frog-Eyed gex before.

I wouldn't mind being as cute as a hognose. Do I take your comment as a compliment then? LOL

"Emily" the amel isn't just cute, she's a food vacuum. I bet your feeding bill has decreased since she's been living with me. That girl can eat
