My new little mouse room
Yay, I finally have a seperate room for the mice! My dad built a small room into the back of his shop where I can keep my mice (I've begun to stop noticing the smell... but everyone else tells me they don't like the basement smelling like mice). So here's my new room (sans mice until it gets some insulation on the wall ajoining the shop... shop itself is kept only 10 or so degrees above).

Through the door

Inside
I can hardly wait to start moving my mice and their stuff in. Best part is, if it starts getting too close in there, I can add an exhaust fan fairly easily.

Yeah, both my parents are pretty awesome... putting up with (and even taking interest in) my 'odd' hobbies. *L* Though I'm sure they'll be mostly happy when I finish university, move out, and take my critters with me.

LOL thats the same with my dad. He didn't really mind when I had the snakes in my office, then i started breeding the mice and didnt want them in my bedroom (those things are loud!) so I moved them into the recroom thats right off my office. Im slowly taking over the house (already have my 33gal fishtank in the family room, and my dog/cats have full reign) He's probably counting the days til im gone

*lol* know what you mean... I have snakes, lizards, and mice in the basement (mice soon to move to their room in the shop), ferrets, a gecko, and a few snakes in the dining room, gerbils in the computer room, dogs in the yard, and cats almost wherever they want to be. I'm sure my parents won't miss most of them... but my b/f gets this very resigned look on his face when I remind him that one day most of my pets will come with me. *L* (I had 1 snake when I started dating him... now I have 9 with 5 coming in Dec. *L*)
