Incubation for Beardies

Hey
I was just wondering the this method of incubation would work for beardies. I have used the rubbermaid with water and a water heater nethod before. I was wondering if this kind of incubator would work with beardie eggs or if there would be too much humidity?
any of suggestions would be helpfull
thanks

Steve. The water in small container within styrofoam container with a thermostat controlled water heater has been working for my beardies for over five years now. I keep a typical clutch of 25 eggs in about 4-5 smaller containers with some small ventilation holes around the sides. The water heater method keeps everything humid and reduces the amount of opening of the incubator to a minimum (just to top off water as needed). About 120 days later you should have babies. Temp plays a huge role in sex of offspring. Containers on bottom could be one degree cooler and will produce all males while the top containes will produce all females. Warmer = females. If you use this sort of incubator than make sure it has some sort of window you can see through. This will also help eliminate unnessecary openings of the incubator. Hope this helps!!

l.o.l. Only 50-60 days for beardie eggs to incubate.Just don't let humidity sit on your eggs.(they'll start to rot). If you ever have any eggs sink in a bit during inc. not at the end it means not enough hum. try putting a little drop of warm water in the dip.I've had a few come right back out that same day i did it.
