You can't hear him but you've got to see him!
It's too bad you can't hear the sound coming out of his mouth at the time this picture was taken. I was offering him a rabbit but he was adamant about not taking it. I've never been so impressed by anything I've ever seen a herp do as I was by the sound coming out of this snakes mouth!
Thanks for looking,
Trevor

LOL! Yeah, that looks like a definite NO!
I don't have any boas that are that defensive, I get the odd long, low hiss out of one of the girls but that's more of an "I don't wanna be touched right now" sort of thing.
Have you ever seen the Nat. Geographic episode with that Dr. Brady Barr guy where he fails to heed the hissing of an adult he found and ends up getting bitten in the face? HAHA! It's a good one.
He's an interesting looking guy too, eh? Very distinct medallions on his sides.
Does that screw through the water dish really work? If so, how easy is it to take out for cleaning?

It's super easy to take out because I use a wing nut. And yes it works very well.
Cheers,

Reminds me of Peanut ![Stick Out Tongue](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif) I just pretend like she's trying to soothe me with ocean sounds ![Stick Out Tongue](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif) It's always funny to hear the big noises that come out of boas... maybe since they are so quiet most of the time.

grumpy grumpy grumpy
HI,
My female hog gave me one of those smiles , cause I was trying to haul her out of the cage and she didn't want to be messed with she made no sound but she did wave her open mouth around a bit to be sure I saw her teeth, she' neve done that before...
Most have been that bad mood thing..
Doug

What do you do if you need to move the snake and it's being moody?
