Computer Help

My computer has this annoying rattle coming somewhere from the CPU tower. Its like its constantly reading something. Any suggestions to make it stop?
Thanks

First guess would be a bad cooling fan or some wiring rubbing on a cooling fan.

I'd have to hear it myself to be sure but that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Do you have a CD Rom drive in the top bay? And if so is there a disc in it? If so take that out and see if that gets rid of the noise. If not than it's either a blowhole fan (Right on the top of the case) or your power supply fan. Those are the only two that are typically near the top of a case.

I had a similar experience a few times actually. Every time, I needed a new cooling fan. IT can be a real pain in the arse... but is easy to remedy.
