Shipping...
Hey I know how to ship and everything, but I've never shipped lizards or snakes before but I soon plan to when I start breeding. But I wan't to know why some people ship corn snakes and other small lizards and snakes for 25.00 and others ship for 50.00. I mean it can't vary that much can it? I'll ask my local post office to find out for sure but I'd like an estimate on what I'd probably pay.

Shipping in Canada and shipping in America are two VERY different ways of shipping. In Canada, we can't send a snake via UPS or Fed-Ex for $25 or $50.

Technically you can't ship snakes in the US other than through the airlines. There is, however, supposedly a way to get certified through FedEx, but I've been working on it for over a month with little or no success so far.
Also, you can't and SHOULDN'T ship USPS, they have many delays, plus don't allow you to ship snakes either...

Well how does everyone I manage to get from ship snakes and lizards to me? I've never had a delay either in over a dozen shipments. I guess I'll just have to dig up an email of someone I've gotten from in the past and see how they do it.

Did they use USPS, or was it an overnight courier? Ie UPS or FedEx?
You can still use them, but not if they know about it. I didn't say it wasn't physically possible, just against their policies.
