GTP or ETB?

Don't worry, I'm going to get some experience with some easier snakes first -- but I do love the look of both of these guys -- and I imagine that I'll want to get one at some point I'll have my BP and BRB for "handleable" snakes, and this guy I'll probably leave alone most of the time -- I've heard that handling them can be quite -- interesting To say the least... hehe...

Anyways, what I'm really wondering is if there's any major differences between these guys... do you prefer one over the other, and if so, why? Is one more likely to be temperamental than the other? I'm pretty sure that general care for the 2 is about the same... humidity-wise etc...

Thanks for any opinions/input
Jen

I personally prefer ETBs over GTPs. I have been drooling over them for years, but cannot swallow the high prices. Here is a good site with plenty of pictures of both species, hopefully it will help you make up your mind.

Or just follow Mary's advice, and buy both species!!!

Speaking of ETBs, does anyone know of a site that explains the different localities, and ways of identifying them?

Thanks!

I hope to work with both someday, I've always thought they were some incredible looking snakes. I think though my first arboreals will be Amazon Tree Boas, hopefully soon too.

Country:
I really love the ETB's and have been told several times to start with ATB's and move up from there. I think many of the problems with ETB's stem from there being so many WC's out there and not as many CB's. There aren't a whole heck of a lot of WC GTP's out there, considering they're australian, and well you know, Australia isn't exactly exporting often; so many GTP's are CB.

I just like the GTP.

I wouldn't refuse either of those snakes.
