Talking My favroite herp!

Here is my favroite herp I have ever owned, he/she is a yearling which I aquired from Henry Piorun in August. I keep him in a 15 gallon cage with a waterdish and a large fake plant, I use a small painting tray for his waterdish and he/she perfers to hid underneath it. He/she gets fed greens, fruit, plenty of insectsand around every month some high qualitly canned cat food.

He/she is capitve bred

These skinks eat like monsters!!!! They enjoy a deep substrate that they can dig around in.... though I recommend you throw in a nice hide or some sort of cave.
You GOTTA love blue tongues!!!!! They just have so much spunk!

I am going to find a nice log to make a hide today, I would give him/her some peat moss, but last time I gave him/her bark mulch he/she got loads of mites, and since she/he has been on paper towel he/she has gained plenty of weight and looks great

He is funny when he is in his cage, he will hiss at me when I pick him up but then he will close his eyes b/c he is so relaxed in my hands, yes they have so much spunk
