Aluminum tape

Has anyone ever stuck this to their heat pad and had it run to the cool end of the enclosure to provide a bit of heat on the cool end to boost it up to 80 degrees? How did this work for ya?
Thanks.

Mike

Yea, I'm thinking about testing it out as my room isn't 80 degrees so the cool end of my enclosures isn't what everyone thinks it should be. But I do provide hides that are resting halfway on the heat pads which gives them this temperaute in a hide.

Ya, I agree with Paul. I use it over my heat rope to give a wider area of heat then just a stran or two or heat rope. It works great but only for a short distance, imo.

Well, I will never be using heat tape on an adult cage, just the small rubbermaids, so maybe this is a solution?
