Gargoyle Gecko (pics)
This is the female gargoyle gecko (Rhac auriculatus) I picked up at the PCPC show yesterday.
I've been patiently waiting to get any red one, and I lucked out with this one - I needed another female!!
A smile to make you melt.
Don't they have the most amazing blue eyes?
I find gargoyles to be even calmer than cresties and just as addictive.

Wow that is amazing looking.
If they are just as addicting as cresties I think I'll have to steer clear of them.

I saw a couple great ones at the show too, but alas, I did not purchase
spectacular animal dragondrop!

Thanks for the compliments
Adam, that gargoyle was more white, somewhat drab looking at the show, but then what can you expect from someone sitting in a deli cup being stared at all day - they all look bad when they're having a bad hair day. When I saw her, I could tell there was more colour there, just hiding from all the stress. Once I got her home and settled in the tank, she went right for the fruit dish and ate a bit. Within an hour she was bright as I hoped she'd be.

Wow Hilde, that little guy is awesome.
I've been toying with the idea of Crested Geckos but perhaps i'll look at Gargoyles instead. VERY cool.
