Well a good price on a normal CB blood python all depending on color is $200 - $325. But if it is a CH or WC you might beable to get one cheaper but usually comes with a lot of problems(mites, internal perisites ...etc). Hope that answers your questions.

Also keep in mind that the general quality of the animals can affect the price. You can, as stated, expect to pay up to $325 for a VERY nice, captive bred, with the parents also being captive bred, and having a good temperament and color. The parents dont have to be captive bred, but my point is that if the animal is of high quality, you can expect more. As the line goes:

"You get what you pay for"

If your planning on buying a blood for $80-100 bucks.......dont do it. Find something you know is captive bred and look at the parents if you can.

Good luck! And what kind of experience do you have with snakes?

C.

I would say so, they really aren't beginner snakes. Their girth and weight alone requires a completely different handling method. Some are much more temperamental than others so there is the chance that you will be bitten quite often. Read up all you can on their care and housing requirements for an adult.
