how long should i leave it in for?

I thawed out a pinky for Casper, but he hasn't touched it yet. I was wondering how long should I leave it in the tank for? Before I have to worry about bacteria? Thanks

no more than 8 hours. Try braining the pinky (squishing its head)

Also try rubbing the nose of the thawed pinky.

We have found that putting the pinky in its hide box works well.

Thanks everyone... I think I spooked him by handling him before I offered the pinkie... won't do that again. Once it was within tongue distance he knew what to do

At least I didn't have to brain it
