Burmation

I was wondering what you King keepers generally burmate your snakes at. Surprisingly i cannot find temperatures below 60 F , i find it surprising considering where i live....in the freezing North...lol but yea any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I would aim for 55, I keep mine in the basement under the house entrance, temps there fluctuate between 49 on 62 from December 1st to March 1st with an average of 54.

60 would be the highest they should have, anything over that is asking for trouble...

Look for a spot near a concrete wall and try to isolate around that wall, you'd be suprised how low it could get...

Good luck

I do the same as Marc. I keep them in a closet in my basement under the front enterance stairs. I also insulate the closet door to keep the cool in.

Lindze, just wait until the temps outside drop a bit more... cuz you KNOW they will!

Thanks for the tips guys. But living in a tailer has its down falls.....no basement, and a bigger downfall is a room mate who hates snakes, one i can take care of the other i cant, lol. The area i have been observing is the closet in my porch....i find it cold, but sadly the thermometer doesnt. and Tim I know it will and i hope it will too......cant snowmobile on water (well not for to long or you'll sink
