A couple pics of my ball.

Here is my 2002 male ball python. I had him up for sale, but have changed my mind, i will be keeping him.

I am going to try to feed him tonight also, so if he takes the rat, i will throw up another pic here of that.

Thanks for looking.

Tim

Nice, very unusual pattern.

Just curious, if he is not a good eater is it still okay to handle him before being fed?

Nice snake though, it's just I was told you are supposed to leave them before feeding...

Kevin, That's a just a general rule for 1st time owners so they don't stress their BPs out too much. Once you get to know your animal's behavior a bit better, you can usually bend some of the "rules" a bit.

Nice to have you back.

The only reason he is not a good eater right now is because of the breeding season. Usually he pounds down the rats, but for the last 2 winters has been slow on the food.

Last year he went off of food for 5 months.

Glad to be back here

Alright Tim, thanks

Yah I clean and handle all of my baby snakes before feeding......hehe, but I wasn't sure about picky eaters.

Good to know

Well at least he is eating, HetforHuman

Thanks everyone

He is a great all around snake, and is always mega curious. I dont know when the last time i seen him in the ever so famous ball position, he is always on the move.

Yah, once you have had them for a few months to years they almost never go into that famous position...
