tail wagging female - good thing?
No where in the breeding manuals did it mention the female (or male) wagging their tails when they meet.... is this normal?
As of this morning I'm pretty sure they were locked together (woo hoo!!!) but I was wondering if anyone else had seen this wagging thing?
The big female white lipped we have wags her tail all the time, when she's annoyed! I just hope that wasn't my girl showing her displeasure in sharing her enclosure....
Thanks for sharing any experiences.... and I'm going to try and get pictures of them doing the deed tonight if they are still together..... lol, snake porn!

Whenever I get tail wagging in BP's, 100% of the time the female has been NON-receptive. Tail wagging here has been bad for Ball Python breeding. Cloacal gaping however, is good, but I've never witnessed it in Ball Pythons before.

Cloacal gaping, eh?... Nice potty mouth, add that to the list of snake terminology not suitable for use at the in-laws dinner table. LOL

My Females wag they're tails when I introduce them to males too. They leave a slime trail behind them as well.
Just be thankful that our girlfriends don't wag their "tails" and leave a slime trail behind them when we walk in the room!
