Getting a bubblegum rat snake

Hey, I am picking up a bubblegum ratsnake from a friend later on this week. Right now, I have a colombian bci and a ball python. Never had a colubrid. Was wondering about the humdity requirements and if they are arboreal.

Thanks.

Bubblegum rat is a morph of the Black rat, I do believe. They are semi-arboreal (they can go STRAIGHT up a tree using their ventrals). Care is fairly easy, they don't need high humidity (approx 40% should do it) or high temps (75-85).

Bubblegum rats are a cross with a bunch of obsoletus. Noone knows fer sure which ssp were involved but the albino gene did come from the black rat and I believe a glades or yellow rat was thrown in the mix as well.

Keep em like corns but with a li more space since obsoletus get a lil bigger than guttatus
