Thumbs up Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas

Hi there folks:

Not sure how many out there play video games or "electronic focus graphical devices of entertainment" lol.

I myself don' t play much PC games but have a few XBOX and PS2 games for entertainment on rainy days and just for nothing to do but game days, lol.

Well lets get to the news.....its PS2 for me.

GRAND THEFT AUTO - SAN ANDREAS

PRESS - FOR WEBSITE

It' s out in North America in retail stores, but I was amazed on the must have price hike some speciality stores had them priced at. Not going to mention who and where but I expect its all over the continent. Especially when these places had waiting lists with up to 120 people waiting almost 2 plus months for this release of this game and others. I was amazed to see the hype on them and San Andreas. These are great games for entertainment minus the media hype later of their violence and so on, lol.

But the real news is this while these retail locations with waiting lists think people are going to pay $65.00 plus tax after per game they forgot the almighty stores like Wal - Mart had there selves stocked as well and there price was decent at $48.83 plus tax after.

If you like these games and like a decent price without the hike check them out. I myself like a discount where I can find it and thought maybe you would too. Although if you wait say 3 months bet it will be cheaper everywhere and it might be put on its classic list and drop to under $30, but myself I had to have it now, lol.

Can' t wait till.

METAL GEAR 3 - SNAKE EATER

METAL GEAR 3 - SNAKE EATER

PRESS - FOR WEBSITE

These 2 games rock and once I can get Metal Gear I be so happy after the long year wait on this particular game. From what I hear and read so far Metal Gear 3 will have a few special animals in it. Expect to see as said so far are Reticulated Pythons and Anacondas.

Well that' s it for now.

Cya...

Tony

JON:

Sorry I still need to get HALO 1, been wanting it but have not actually looked into it as much as the above listed games. But yes HALO 2 is coming too and from what I heard so far its on alot of download servers already, as was San Andreas 6 days before release. But I buy my stuff even though its out there for free. As for PC games I just can' t get into them like most "pros" do. Only types I play are city building games like ZUES, CEASAR, PHARAOH / CLEOPATRA and so on. The other types just don' t do it for me mostly cause you need to upgrade your graphic cards and memory and so on. Even though my PC is able to handle all that now I just never went into it..........PS2 and XBOX all the way baby, lol.

I do the same thing, only if it is a good game though. I like to help support the companies that make them, they deserve the money b/c they spend a lot of time developing them.

This is a pain, but I've been building computers since I was 16 so thats why I enjoy playing PC draining games just to test out my computer performance. You can say I'm a bot of a geek yes lol......

There is nothing more to life than Vid Games and Herps.

I used to play console games...... when I was 12.

PC all the way. Anything under 1280 x 768 resolution is crap to my eyes.

JEFF:

You funny, but I like the 52" TV view and the low cost in the end.
Plus can' t be on the PC 24/7 dude............lol.

I have a 21" PC monitor but that will never compare, plus I don' t reallt stare at the resolution when you to excited about the game speed and the interaction, always on the move, lol

I had my copy of san adreas pre ordered months ago from EB games and when i went to pick it up there was a huge line up, people were waiting before the store even opened. Im a huge fan of the gta series and san andreas is awesome. I am also looking forward to the new metal gear as well as killzone.

Im with Jeff, PC games all the way. However, I hope San Andreas comes out for the pc soon, if it doesnt I might buy a used ps2 just so i can play it.

Jeff, did you hear about half life 2? They finally set a release day for Nov 16th! Im gonna be like a little kid on Christmas that day. If you want to test it out now, go to www.suprnova.org you can download it there. Alot of the maps are incomplete and buggy, but it is still fun to play around with. The physics on this game are insane! Later.

Dan.

No way man. Front projector instead of a monitor. Projector people measure their screens in feet, not inches. 96" screen playing Doom 3? THAT is what the big boys use! LOL!!
