New Hogs?
Here is a pic of some Hogs I'm considering, is $325 for this pair a good deal or too much? They were born on 6/04 and are 20" long.

Not sure what they go for in the US but I'd buy them in Canada for as much as $750. They are sweet.
Cheers,
Trevor

That's definatly a good price.. $325 US converted is about $380 CDN.. That's a bit more then price of ONE Hog here.. So, that's an awesome deal, i'd get in on that for sure!

Thanks, I've seen them for $150 and as high as $400 each.
The breeder was asking $350 + S&H, after a bit of negotiating I dropped it to $325 shipped. I thought it was a good deal, I noticed they have a bit of specking which from what I understand most prefer cleaner Hogs. I personally prefer the more natural looking hogs.

Thanks Jeff, I've gotten a few pics of these two and they look good. I just wanted to know if the $325.00 was a good price to pay for these two.

I have never paid more than $125 but the midwest shows have been flooded with hogs the last few years except for this year. For some reason this year they were a lot more scarce and prices have actually gone up. Still I would not pay more than $300 for a pair.

I already got these two and they look great, I paid $325 shipped.
Temperment is also good, no hissing or striking. I'll give them a week before attempting to feed a F/T mouse.
Would you consider Hogs being fast growing or slow as Dums? Also, at what age or what size should Hogs be before attempting to breed?
