genetics question

Hi,

I have a normal female BCI, and if I bred her with a 66% het for albino male BCI, what are the chances of getting any albinos?

Thanks in advance.

Nul... you will get 33% het albino normals.

Or either you will get 100% normals, or you will get 50% normals and 50% hets, depending of if the male is normal or het for albino.

There is no chance of getting any albinos from this pairing.
Albinos are resssive so both parents must carry the gene to have a chance of albinos. If the 66% proves out later then the offspring would be 50% possilbe hets. Just remember that the snake will either be het or not. The 66% is a chance for it being het for albino. It comes from breeding two hets. together. The approx. offspring from this is 25% normal, 50% het., and 25% albino. So of the snakes that look nornal 2/3 or 66% are possibly het albino.
Hope this helps,
