Pics of future breeders...

...hopefully.

This is the male ive had already for 2 years, and this is the new female I got from the last PCPC show. Shes great and takes down mice like a champ. Im gonna need to switch her asap though, so during breeding times she'll have good weight.

Im guessing by 2006ish ill be able to breed her. Shes just over a year, I was told, and is a bit underweight imo. Shes taken one meal for me and I fed her tonight and waiting to see if she takes it down. Shes MUCH more shy then my male, but is still a sweatheart.

I figured id introduce the future husband and wife
(male on right) (female on left)

For some sort of size comparison...heh

Im not going to breed her until she is over the 1600 g point. (or even 2000g) I do not want to risk any egg bound problems and im in no rush at all to breed them. Would you say thats a good weight for a female or should she be even bigger?

yes that's a good weight, alot of people use 1500 grams as a minimum.
