The problem with python eggs is that they are VERY fragile, and it is impossible to control the incubation temps using maternal incubation. You're lucky if you get 50% of the eggs that don't die due to heat fluctuations, and of the 50% that do hatch, 50% of those may be deformed. There is just no reason to do it if you want a high success rate.
