This site is not good for me!!!
Since I have joined this wonderful site and have been reading and participating in these forums, there has been one major side effect. Seeing everyone's gorgeous snakes has more than doubled my "wanted list" and I just end up drooling and dreaming of new snakes. Much to my boyfriend's dismay!
Seriously, I was planning to get maybe 4-5 other snakes in the future but now I'm going mad seeing all these gorgeous snakes and wanting them for myself too! What am I to do? And how to deal with my bf who is getting discouraged of me talking about them all the time and planning on making new cages and getting much more than originally planned?!
Now that we're talking about getting a house, the first thing that came to my mind was "Woohoo, a snake room!" and he just dropped his head and said "great..." He is a sweety to let me enjoy this hobby and even helps me sometimes with my snakes but I don't know how much more he can take!!!
You guys/gals are killing me!!!

YIKES
I'd see a Dr. about that if I was you...sounds like a nasty rash
when i joined this forum I had 0 snakes
now i have 1 and will get 1 Kenyan from Roy (as soon as she eats)
I may get a normal corn this weekend from St Jacobs and I hope to have a BP by the end of the year
I already have the tanks ready and will stock up the freezer in prep for the new additions
I have had friends come over to let me know if there is ANY way I can re-arrange my furniture to fit in more tanks. The only recommendation was to get a bunk bed since all floor and wall space is FULL.
My Mom won't even come over any more, "You have more damn animals than a pet store!"
The next option is to get a house and Believe me...I'm trying!
Muahahaha:devil:

at least you can feed the laudry things to the reptiles right?
I think dust mites are too small though
maybe I need a bigger snake...so I can justify the dust bunnies

I definitely NEED a house! I have over 30 animals living in my bedroom with me, not to mention the 100+ feeders breeding in my basement and the few other animals that live in the main part of the house. Don't know how I can fit anymore in my room. I get teased because I have aisles in my room - apparently stores are only supposed to have aisles, not bedrooms
See, that's the fun part of the Gotta-Have-Its, I'm STILL aquiring new animals.....LOL

just to anyone who wants to know, last time i got the GTHI's i cleared it up really fast with Monastat 7, just so you know, also, my room has aisles in too linds, you're not the only one, it takes me awhile to wake up in the mornings , so i end up falling down quite a bit...ah well, small price to pay

Silke, you have Boston terriers too! I have 2 too!!!
1 male 4 1/2 years (Bobby) and 1 female 11 months (Mathilda). They are quite the little dogs and have a whole bunch of energy especially my little young one, boy she drives my other 2 dogs nuts!!! I have a retired greyhound as well and he just watches them and grunts when they are too much for him! Quite the funny little buggers, my Bobby still doesn't get that he's a dog and not a human!!!

OMG
I feel like a heel !
I forgot my one and only snake!
Oscar is 3.5 and Charlie is 2
Oscar is my little 'diva' and Charlie...well, I named him after Charlie Chaplin for a reason
he's goofy, clumsy, has LOADS of energy and is always in a good mood
they both love men with facial hair...go figure!

How are they with their toys? My Bobby wants every toy and bone in the house, he just wont stand to have any of the other two have anything! I even go to the point of putting him in his cage when I pass out bones, he wont touch his while the others are chewing theirs, then I let him out, he goes steals whatever's left and THEN starts chewing his bone. He's getting clumsy too, once in a while when he jumps on the couch he totally misses his mark and just bounces off the side of the cushion. First time I saw it, I almost peed my pants laughing at him!
Gotta love those bostons!
