Kings are so funny...

Trooper, my blk/white 50/50, actually tried to eat her shed today. I looked on her tonight and found a nice shed, that I was expecting. I reached in carefully to retrieve it (excellent feeding response on this girl) and she actually showed interest in her shed! So I jiggled it around and she bit it and tried to drag it off across the floor!!

I called Vanan in to see what she was doing and we both had a good laugh. I grabbed the shed and she let go of it. Too funny!!!!

Only a cal king!! They are a blast. I actually can't imagine not having at least one of these snakes - they have such personality. I can totally believe one of them trying to eat their shed thinking it was another snake.

Once you get past the crazy baby stage they are wonderfully entertaining. Our old female will play dead - when you curl her up and lay her on her back she will stay there for ages - or 'rise from the dead' if you lift her chin up with your finger. They are just too funny!
