HHAHAHAHA.... Vanan having a shouting match with a pituophis... too funny.
They are truly impressive animals, especially their color. I love pituophis head shapes too.

Nice pics! I always find it a bit strange how bulls look like three different snakes in one. Anyone else notice that?

Yep. That's what I've always said about them. Like having three snakes in one. Alot of them are very distinctly segregated along their body, colorwise.

Those are some awesome pics Vanan, of some very nice looking snakes! Love the red coloration on most of those guys! Bulls have such cute faces, when they're not giving you that attitude of theirs... lol.
Thanks for sharing

Those are some great pics. Well done. I love the sound they make. It's as loud as my four foot monitor.

Incredible shots man! I really like the look that pits have and how it perfectly suits their attitudes not to mention they must have the best hiss of any snake, pound for pound anyway.
What are the conservation laws concerning them like? Are you allowed to keep any or is it catch and release?

Great pics Vanan!
Such a shame that most people, even herp fanciers, don't know how rich is the Canadian herpetofauna. Nothing is more impressive than a pissed of bull snake in the wild, exept maybe a prairie rattler.
Where are you located exactly and wher have you take those shots.
