Well infront of my friends house they found this "rattler" well i saved the family from certain death and informed them it was our native bull/rat/pine/gopher snake here in nrthn calif.

lol! Good job of saving their lives from this "rattler". Any idea which gopher it might be? Kinda looks like affinis but I doubt they range that far up.

It turns out to be the pacific gopher. I handeled her last night with a few hisses but no strikes, she will do just fine.

pacific gopher = my favorite pit. my female is huge! great personality to them also.
