LOL! That's cute

Hey, I went to the game on Monday night!! It was awesome Great game, even if we did lose... Kidd sucks ***. At least from what I've seen so far... I got to see Mario Lemieux score twice though! Hehe... everyone booed when the penguins scored the other times, but they cheered for Mario... hehe...

Kidd's not soo bad. But the teams lapses in the 2nd and 3rd periods of every game will cost the Leafs many games. How was the overall atmosphere at the game though?? Another sell out crowd, i guess all the fans that said they wouldnt go to anymore games unless there was a big free agent signed all lied huh?

!!!!

The Maple Laughs will always "sell out". Its in their nature! :-)

Go Jets...oh wait, they're not there anymore. Hmmm.....I sure as heck ain't cheering for the Canucks. Actually, I'm not cheering for anybody as football has 6 weeks left.

Then, I guess its either the Oilers of the Flames.

Well -- we'll see I guess. After 3 straight losses I hope that they put Belfour back in net tomorrow night. I just haven't been impressed with what I've seen of Kidd so far...

The atmosphere was incredible That was half the fun... hehe... the uproar at the end of the game with that disputed goal was insane! people actually started chanting "bull ****"... hehe... the whole place basically! Followed by "goal goal goal"... and then "booooooooooooooooo" when they called it a no goal.

All in all, I had a great time -- never been to an NHL game before, nevermind one in a hockey crazy town like Toronto... hehe We've got minor league teams in Victoria, but it's not even close to being the same! Spent way too much money too Oh well! *grins*. I was going to buy myself a jersey -- thank god I tried it on first before I spent the money -- I'm so short that the damn thing came down halfway to my knees... hehe... looked more like a dress than a shirt! Ended up getting a jacket & a hat instead -- I'll get more use out of them anyways Oh, and I got several pucks as souvenirs too One for me, and 3 for other people... hehe...

I'm glad you had a good time. I dont know too many people that get to games and dont. The atmosphere is second to none. I went to a game last year against the Sabres in December, it was awesome. I sat in Platinum seats. We truly have the best fans in the sport, no doubt about it.
As for Belfour, he hasn't played cause he's "injured". That's something we as Leafs will have to get used to saying. He's been my fav goalie since 87, but come on, soo many injuries since he went to Dallas.
How about sending me a puck??

Ooooooo... platinum seats That woulda been awesome! Wish I could've afforded that Just couldn't justify spending so much money on one night of entertainment when I need all the money I can get for my move... going to cost more than I thought, didn't realize how much stuff I had until I started packing... hehe
I was in the green seats... upper level, row 1, just to the right of center ice... not too bad actually

Ahhhh... "injured". I see... he's "injured" a lot, is he? Why on earth did we sign him and not another goalie then?

Tee hee -- sorry bud, all the pucks are spoken for already I could try taking one back, but I don't think that I'd have much luck...

I guess you have never been to a playoff game in Edmonton ...it would put T.O. to shame.

One that comes to mind is game 3 versus Dallas in 1997.

Not to mention the 80's.

Big Mike,
Have never been to a game in Edmonton, but have heard that have some good fans. I know when watching that series with Dallas it was loud on the TV. However, you have to take into consideration that the ACC is a huge arena and sounds like crap on TV. It gets majorly loud in there man. But i do know the fans in EDM are some or the loudest. Same with Long Island..

My two favorite teams are the Flyers and who ever is playing the stinkin Rangers. I hated the Rangers forever, only now it's more fun to hate them since they signed crybaby Eric. I use to go to the Flyers games and you could watch Lindros skating around at center ice waiting for someone else to make things happen. You don't see that part of it on TV. So sad, so much talent and no heart.
