Fruit fly culture

Hi, I just set up another fruit fly culture for my darts, how long do you think it will be before it begins producing enought to feed them. Also, how long do fruit flys live for? Thanks for the help.

Ah~
they're driving me nuts over here and you're breeding them for dart frog food~

bring your darts to my place and they'll get fed nicely~~

Do you have any clues on catching these buggers other than with dart frogs?

I put some beer in small cups all over the room where I had some before. And after about a week, I had none left, they all died in the beer.

They prefer bud weiser ;-) joke, any beer will do.

But I hope you don't have them in your cornsnake room cause you are in for a long time, they get in all of the cornsnakes rubbermaids and lay where ever it is moist.

Hey Jordan, go to www.u n d e r s t o r y e n t e r p r i s e s .com minus the spaces and go to feeders and click the fruit fly link. He has info on how to raise fruit fly cultures and something about one culture a week for every 3 frogs.
