Well I don't think they are blah as I had been wanting this species and am very excited to have this lone male. Ratsnakes are my gig and I love north american rats.

Here's a beautiful grey rat male I picked up in Red Deer. I debated getting a female, but I think that no one will want babies so I am content to look at this guy myself.

I'm sure someone will say, he's a blk rat, but the colour is off on the yellow scale in the pics. He is very nice dark grey colour. About three feet. They don't get as big as the other old "obseletus".

Anyhow, here's a blah snake for you guys to see. Anyone like grey rats??

I love grey ratsnakes - that 'tone on tone' look that they have when mature is very nice - like they belong in an Ansel Adams photo! While bright colors is most of what appeals about snakes - these guys are gorgeous - sort of like the great plains ratsnakes - subtle.
