Moss
I'm having a hard time finding just straight-up sphagnum moss in my town. Would it be ok to use a sphagnum/peat moss mix?

Peat moss is just finely milled sphagnum. I use it for my frog, but that's about it. IMHO it would be far too messy to use for terrestrial snakes, especially a large one, such as a heavy-bodied blood.
Also, if you could please reduce your signature to the maximum allowance of four vertical lines (this includes spaces). Thank you.

I usually avoid Wal-Mart, but I'll look there. I was surprised that neither Lowe's nor Home Depot had it, since their garden sections are so big.
