What makes it a Miami phase? From the pictures I've seen, my "common" looks like a Miami Phase but I don't know what qualifies as a Miami phase. Can anyone help?

Hey tai pan1, ** see a "real deal" Miami corn check out my post "Miami revisited". That pic shows more of the snake. In general they have maroon/red saddles with a thick black border on a gray/silver ground color. Very little or no orange in the ground color. Not every corn found in the Miami area has that look however. Just as every corn found in Jasper Co. S.C. is not a spectacular " Okeetee". Mine are descendant from w.c. Len Krysko animals. I just got another male from Miami and he's nice as well. I'm not saying anyone else's snakes are or are not Miami phase, just saying what I look for in the snake. I don't really care for the "home made" look in some however. Here's my female.Hope this helps.

I'll have to go get a digital camera so I can post some pics. My wife is going to kill me, she already thinks I spend too much on the snakes. If anyone is interested, check out my for sale ad:american.
