Motley Sunglow?
I was browsing through a U.S. website recently and I saw a picture of a Motley Sunglow corn... amazing to say the least!
I don't plan on getting one anytime soon, but I was wondering if anyone in Canada was breeding these? Or if anyone here owns one and has pics?
Thanks
Zoe

Yup, I produced some Motley sunglows this season.
I think Simon and a few others are also producing them. There's a few around anyway.

Not breeding them yet - mine are just yearlings - but here are some pictures They are very dramatic corns - the male I have is darker orange but has a few white scales near his tail --
the female was sold as sunglow motley but is definately oranger - lighter tones, but still pretty - will be using her with my creamsicle line

Wow, they sure are stunning! Up there with Blizzards as my favourite corns! How much do they go for in Canada?

That is about what they sell for here in western Canada - Annette from Wrapped up in Reptiles usually has them available.
They are a very pretty snake - get better with age! Wish corns weren't so addictive.

Nice Albino Motleys guys. LOL, sorry. But my sunglows are not just a special looking Albino or Albino Motley. My Sunglows are double recessive for Albino (Amelanism) and Hypo (Hypomelanism). Look here a pic of my Sunglow:
Here is my Sunglow Motley (about to shed:
And here is my Sunglow Stripe:
All of these will be available this coming season (2005). Email me if you would like more info on them or info about reserving them.

Ultimatecorns - Interesting to see some sunglows from the lines that are double homozygous - for hypo and amel - the equivalent of hybino in other species. They really have a reduced red/orange quality compared to amels - similar to what is seen in other species and expected to happen with honduran milks (once we get to see some confirmed ones).
Nice corns that you have available - are you willing/able to ship to Canada - the US Fish and Wildlife regulations make it prohibitive for most American breeders - would be interested to know if you handle international shipments.

I have a Fish n Wildlife Permit and I believe I can ship to Canada, but lemme double check that. However, none of these are available right now. I will have Sunglows, Sunglow Motleys, and Sunglow Stripes in summer 2005. But I will take reserves on these. Email me for more info. Email address is nate@ultimatecornsnakes.com

I'd love to get some sunglow stripes from ya. If you can export to Canada, I just may have to piggyback Mary's order.
