i've lurked on this forum a little bit before, but hadnt felt the need to chime in or join in as although i had lizards, i didnt have any snakes.
well things have changed.
at the latest area show (white plains NY) my wife and i each picked up our first snakes. as they were our firsts, i recommended colubrids. i'd done plenty of research prior and knew they were in general good starters. she ended up with an albino sonoran gopher and i picked up a hypo or albino (still not sure) california king. we love 'em both and are looking forward to adding to our new collection.
