would a 48x24 cage be big enough for 4 hatchlings/ if so how long could i keep them together(assuming there was not more than one male) Also could I keep a pair of adults in that size cage? Thanks in advance.

I don't think it would be a good idea to keep the baby balls in a cage that large. If you were to keep them together they could live quite a while in a tank that big. You could keep the adults in a cage that size, but all and all I think you might want to keep those baby balls individually in rubbermaid containers or small aquariums, 5-10gal. It will make feedings easier and there will be way less stress (Ball pythons do not live in groups). There are other reasons to house individually but I figure this gives you some of the major benifits. Just an opinion.. Good luck.
