An unusual capture.

Well, I had a fairly intersesting find today! A baby bat fley into my friends house today. He called me up to say that it was confined in a room and asked me to catch it. I came over and searched the room, then I found it behind a picture frame. The little guy was only a few inches long. I put some gloves on and held a towel under the picture and then pulled the frame back from the wall. The little guy fell into the towel, woke up, and opened his tiny mouth and squeaked. I brought him outside, picked him up, and put him in a dark bush. He wasn't there later so I guess he's ok. Anyway, just a neat story I wanted to share.

Yeah, I wish I could have gotten some pics, but it wasn't my house. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but it could have been a long-eared myotis (myotis evotis). Yhe ears didn't look that big though, but since it was young..
