Anery
Hi,
I'm new to the boa forum. I am interested in purchasing an anery boa, could someone please give me a general price for them? And I was also wondering what their temperment was like.
Thanx,
wish fire

you are going to be looking at about $600 canadian for an anerythristic boa. I know of only 2 people that produced them this year in canada, so you might be out of luck for now.
There should be some more next year though.
Also for their temperment, it is the same as most columbian boas.
Might be a little hissy and bitey at first but generally calm down to make a great pet for handling. Lets just say i have never been bit by any of my boas and i have 11 of them
Here is a pic of my Anery

No problem
Nothing wrong with a normal columbian boa, there is always time to move up the morph ladder

Hog Islands go for around $375.00.
Here is a link to some for sale.

They do stay smaller than colombians. The pair that i have come from the sears line of hog islands, and the dad of my snakes is about 4 feet if i remember correctly. I can ask the breeder if you really want.
They seem to be somewhat more hissy as babies than any other boa i own, but they have never tried to bite me.
My female is an absolute sweetheart, and loves to come out all the time. And mine are eating machines...
Deffinitely a snake i wish i owned years ago, so you cant go wrong with a hog island.
